On September 22, the voters of the city of Bern will decide on three proposals, including the renovation of the Fischermätteli streetcar. This was announced by the municipal council on Friday.

The implementation credit for the complete renovation of the Brunnhof-Fischermätteli road area amounts to CHF 15.7 million. As part of the planning, a switch from streetcar to bus service between Brunnhof and Fischermätteli was examined but ultimately rejected.

The two proposals for the new Weissenbühl elementary school will also be put to the people in September. These are the construction loan of 78.6 million francs and the planning proposal. The school complex is to be built on the northern part of the Goumoëns site.
