Police in Appenzell Ausserrhoden have caught two suspects after a series of burglaries. Several patrols, a service dog and a drone team from the St. Gallen cantonal police were deployed in the manhunt.

As the cantonal police of Ausserrhoden announced on Sunday, several reports of thefts in Waldstatt were received in the night. They launched a manhunt and were able to arrest two suspects. They were two Algerian nationals aged 16 and 38.
