The SharePrint AG printing center in Zofingen is jointly owned by SWS Medien AG in Willisau/Sursee LU and Zofinger ZT Medien AG, it was reported. The two partners wanted to give up the printing business for economic reasons.

This will lead to redundancies for five to six people for the time being. The print shop is located in Zofingen, at the headquarters of ZT Medien AG, which publishes the "Zofinger Tagblatt".

On January 1, 2025, the printing business will be transferred to the Merkur Group in Langenthal, it was reported. The plans to close SharePrint AG have resulted in a consultation process. The final decision by the Board of Directors will be made on August 28, 2024. 20 employees would be affected.
