Road maintenance Rock stabilization on Tiefenaustrasse in Bern

Due to rock stabilization work along Tiefenaustrasse in Bern, traffic will temporarily have to drive at a speed limit of 30 km/h. As a result, there may be some waiting times, as announced by the City of Bern's Department of Construction and Transport on Monday.

The work will begin on July 24 and is expected to last until the end of August. The Civil Engineering Department is carrying out safety measures on the sandstone between the junction of the Neufeldtunnel and Felsenau and is also removing rock.

Traffic will be routed around the construction site in two lanes, but shifted to the side.
