The newly elected cantonal government published its government program for the years 2024 to 2028 on Monday. For example, the cantonal government wants to take advantage of the opportunities offered by digitalization while preserving its established identity. In terms of financial policy, it is relying on the old recipes. "The state budget will remain balanced in the long term. State services are appropriate. They are financed with competitive taxes." In terms of economic policy, the focus will be on SMEs. "Moderate population growth" should contribute to the quality of life in the canton of Schwyz.
