Traffic accident Senior rolls car into river in San Bernardino GR

A 75-year-old motorist rolled his car into the Moesa in San Bernardino on Friday due to an operating error. The senior citizen had wanted to install a sunshade on the inside of the windshield in a parking lot not far from the mountain river, but caused the car to roll.

According to the police, the man was able to get out of the vehicle on his own and was practically uninjured. An ambulance nevertheless drove him to Roveredo for a medical check-up.

The fire department set up an oil barrier in the crystal-clear Moesa. A truck-mounted crane then lifted the car out of the middle of the river.
