The cantonal police announced on Saturday that criminal proceedings would be opened against the two offenders with the public prosecutor's office for a speeding offense. Their driving licenses were temporarily revoked.
Three other drivers and a female driver were traveling at speeds of between 120 and 135 km/h. They were two Swiss nationals, a North Macedonian and a Hungarian woman aged between 21 and 33. Criminal proceedings will be initiated against them by the public prosecutor's office for gross violation of traffic regulations, the statement continued.
A breath test on a 33-year-old Swiss man also proved positive, which is why his driving license was temporarily taken away and he will also be charged with driving a vehicle while unfit to drive.
