The teenager was only wearing shorts and a T-shirt, as reported by the Aargau cantonal police on Wednesday. He suffered abrasions. The accident occurred at 10.30 p.m. on Maispracherstrasse.
According to the police, motorcyclists are often riding lightly clothed in the current midsummer weather. The riders repressed the fact that even a fall at low speed could result in serious injuries.
Burns to unprotected skin from the hot exhaust or bee and wasp stings at full speed must also be taken into consideration, it was said. Protective clothing should therefore be worn despite the high temperatures.
