- Thomas Gwerder (center) was tacitly declared elected as the new cantonal councillor for the municipality of Baar. Gwerder succeeds Pirmin Andermatt, who passed away on April 18.

- The election of Martin Affentranger (ALG) as the new Cantonal Councillor for the municipality of Hünenberg was tacitly confirmed. Affentranger replaces Rita Hofer, who stepped down in July.

- Livio Bundi was tacitly confirmed as the successor to Marc Reichmuth, who resigned from the cantonal council. Bundi represents the municipality of Steinhausen and is a member of the SVP.

- The partial revision of the Administrative Jurisdiction Act was approved by 65 votes to 0 after a second reading. This clarifies that judges are required to reside in the canton of Zug. There was no discussion on this.

- The value-added initiative was rejected by 57 votes to 17 and a debate was held on a counter-proposal. The vote on this will take place after the second reading.

- Approved the partial revision of motor vehicle taxes and rejected a bonus for energy-efficient driving by 37 votes to 32.

- verbally supported the purchase of the "Casa Rossa" in Zug for CHF 9.83 million. The vote will take place after the second reading.

- A postulate that had been declared partially substantial was written off as unfinished by 37 votes to 26. The postulate demanded that the canton issue a public invitation to tender for a printed official gazette. The government council did not implement the request due to competition law and legal concerns.

- A motion by Kurt Balmer (center) for a professional initiative for the abolition of the obligation to contract in health insurance was declared non-considerable by 50 votes to 12.
