Unknown thieves broke into a Selecta vending machine in Glarus on Tuesday night and stole the cash box. It contained just one franc.

The thieves probably used a key to open the door of the vending machine on the railroad station site, wrote the Glarus cantonal police on Tuesday. As a result, only minor material damage was caused.

In addition to the cash box, the strangers also stole some items. The police are now looking for witnesses.
