In St. Gallen, the alleged perpetrator got into the cab of a 57-year-old man on the market square, as the St. Gallen cantonal police wrote in a statement on Tuesday. When the cab driver tried to start the car, the 24-year-old demanded cash. The cab driver defended himself and was injured in the process.
In Romanshorn on Thursday night, two men threatened the 67-year-old driver of a cab with a knife and robbed him, as reported by the Thurgau cantonal police on Tuesday. The cab driver was transporting two men aged 37 and 40. While collecting the fare, the passenger grabbed the wallet and threatened the 67-year-old with a knife. He remained largely unharmed.
The 37-year-old and the 40-year-old fled, but were arrested on Friday, according to the Thurgau cantonal police. Both men have largely confessed.
