Break-in Unknown perpetrators break into car garage in Alpnach Dorf OW

Unknown perpetrators broke into a car garage in Alpnach Dorf on Thursday night. They stole several hundred francs in cash.

They also left a big mess in the garage, as reported by the Obwalden cantonal police on Thursday. The property damage could not yet be quantified.

After the break-in, the same perpetrators presumably attempted to break into a nearby garage, according to the statement. However, the perpetrators must have fled when the dogs in the building started barking. The owner of the garage observed three males walking away from the building.
