A worker in Zug was hit by a falling pane of glass and seriously injured. The pane fell from a height of two meters onto the construction worker's arm and inflicted a deep cut.

As the law enforcement authorities announced on Tuesday, the 45-year-old man received medical treatment on site and was then taken to hospital by ambulance.

The accident occurred shortly after 2:30 p.m. on Monday at a construction site on Zählerweg in Zug when workers were removing several panes of glass. The exact circumstances of the accident are being investigated.
