Traffic accident Young driver leaves the road in Zofingen AG and crashes into a tree

A 19-year-old female driver left the road on a bend in the forest in Zofingen on Wednesday evening and crashed into a tree. She was able to leave the badly damaged car unharmed and had to surrender her driver's license, according to the Aargau cantonal police.

The woman was driving on Bottensteinerstrasse in the direction of Zofingen shortly before 11.00 pm. In a bend in the forest, she was probably driving too fast, which is why she left the road and the car collided with a tree and came to a standstill lying on its side, the police added.

The exact cause of the accident is now being investigated. The young driver had to surrender her driver's license for the time being.
