Latest news Youths threaten woman with knife in Moutier

On Saturday afternoon in Moutier, a teenager of around 15 years of age with several of his peers in tow threatened a woman with a knife and slightly injured her. The youths had demanded money from the woman.

The woman was walking along the Avenue de la Liberté near the primary school at around 5.15 pm. There she was approached for money by a youth she did not know. The young aggressor and the group accompanying him, including one or two girls, eventually fled.

The woman was taken to hospital for a check-up, as reported by the regional public prosecutor's office and the Bern cantonal police on Monday. They are looking for witnesses.
