After two postponements in July, the weather forecast and water temperature are now right: the Zurich City Lake Crossing will take place on Wednesday, 21 August, as the organizers announced on Monday. A maximum of 9000 swimmers can take part. Ticket sales start on Monday at 12 noon.

The Zurich lake crossing runs from the Mythenquai lido to the Tiefenbrunnen lido, 1500 meters away. Boats with lifeguards are positioned every 50 to 70 meters. The 9,000 participants set off in twelve groups between 2.30 and 5.55 pm.
