The wolves at the Bruderhaus Wildlife Park in Winterthur have had offspring. The wolf couple Tara and Romulus have had two male pups. However, they are not yet visible to visitors.

The birth took place on April 27, as the city of Winterthur announced on Thursday. The offspring are currently still hiding in caves and shelters in the enclosure. It remains to be seen when and where the pups will show themselves for the first time.

The young wolves are already being fed pre-digested meat by their parents. Gradually, they eat more and more solid food. The male wolf Romulus looks after the pups just as much as the female wolf Tara.

Because the wolves need peace and quiet at the moment, the city is asking visitors to keep quiet around the wolf enclosure.
