If they win against the Polish champions in the mini-tournament at an as yet unknown venue on September 4, they will face the winner of the clash between PAOK Thessaloniki and Kirjat Gat, the champions from Greece and Israel, on September 7.

Even after that, Servette Chênois would still have another hurdle to overcome to reach the 16-team group stage. The second and final qualifying round with first and second legs will be played on September 18/19 and 25/26. The draw will take place on September 9 in Nyon.

The group stage of the Champions League starts on October 8. The final will take place in Lisbon at the end of May.
