Young Boys are upgrading their attacking options with the signing of 21-year-old striker Alan Virginius. The Frenchman joins on a season-long loan from French top-flight club Lille.
As the Bernese club announced, they have an option to buy the player permanently.
Virginius, who can be deployed variably in attack, played on loan with Lille's league rivals Clermont in the second half of last season, with whom he was unable to prevent relegation. Virginius has one goal and three assists in 31 appearances in Ligue 1.
