She had "four tough days on the road behind me. I've made some good progress, but I can't push myself yet," Neff wrote. She left open what her further competition program will look like.
Neff announced at the end of May that a start at the Summer Games in Paris would only make sense if her health situation improved. Together with Alessandra Keller, the 31-year-old has been selected for the Olympic cross-country race on July 28.
