Nino Niederreiter and the Winnipeg Jets are also victorious in their fourth game in the NHL this season. The Canadiens won 8-3 against the San Jose Sharks.

Cole Perfetti, Neal Pionk and Vladislav Namestnikov shone for Winnipeg with four goals each, Nikolaj Ehlers also scored three times in a game that was already 4-1 after the first period.

Niederreiter was on the ice for a good 17 minutes and shot on goal twice. However, the Grisons forward failed to score a personal goal. When he was sent to the penalty box for tripping in the first period, the Sharks, who were still winless after five games, used their superior numbers to score the equalizer.

However, this was to be nothing more than a side note in the Jets' resounding victory.
