The British band Coldplay and frontman Chris Martin are committed to protecting the environment.
Their new album "Moon Music" will be released in the fall. The record is made entirely from recycled bottles.
For their last tour in 2023, they already wanted to reduce their CO₂ emissions by half compared to their 2016/2017 tour by means of efficient planning.
Coldplay planted a tree for every ticket sold in 2023. They also used the tour proceeds to support environmental protection projects such as "The Ocean Cleanup" and "ClientEarth".
Coldplay fans are looking forward to the fall: their new, long-awaited album "Moon Music" will be released on October 4.
Anyone who loves Coldplay knows that singer Chris Martin will once again come up with something special to help protect the environment.
The album "Moon Music" will also be released as a record and will be made from recycled plastic bottles, Coldplay announced on various social media platforms.
Recycled materials will also be used for the CD, as the record company announced.
The band has already campaigned for environmental and climate protection on several occasions. In 2015, the musicians joined other artists in calling for an ambitious climate protection agreement ahead of the climate summit in Paris. According to the band, they are also trying to reduce climate-damaging emissions on their current tour.
