A catenary fault led to another brief interruption to rail traffic at Bern station shortly after 11.30 p.m. on Saturday. Trains were running again before midnight, as an SBB spokeswoman told the Keystone-SDA news agency.

Due to the interruption, delays of up to 30 minutes must still be expected, the spokesperson said. Passengers are advised to consult the online timetable.

There had already been a total breakdown at Bern station on Friday afternoon lasting around twenty minutes. The reason was a power cut, as an SBB spokesperson told the Keystone-SDA news agency on request.
