USA Gunman opens fire on US highway

In the US state of Kentucky, a man shot at several cars on the I-75 highway, injuring five people. The gunman hit nine vehicles with bullets on the highway on Saturday evening (local time), the office of the investigating authorities in Laurel County said on Facebook. The highway was temporarily closed for several hours.

The suspect had fled, said the mayor of the nearby town of London, Randall Weddle, in a video message on Facebook. Weddle initially called on residents to stay in their homes and lock their doors until the manhunt was over.
