Israeli soldiers have recovered the bodies of five hostages in the Gaza Strip. Among them is the 56-year-old resident of a kibbutz on the edge of the sealed-off coastal strip, according to the army. She was killed in the massacre by the Islamist Hamas on October 7 last year and her body was abducted. The other bodies were those of soldiers who fell that day in the fight against the terrorists and whose bodies had also been abducted. Their bodies were recovered in southern Gaza on Wednesday and brought to Israel.
