Shortly after European leaders visited Kiev to mark the fourth anniversary of the Russian war of aggression against Ukraine, the Russian air force attacked the Dnipropetrovsk region. Two people were killed in an explosion, the regional military administrator Olexander Gansha announced on Telegram. Five other civilians were injured and numerous houses were damaged by the bombing. It was not ruled out that there were still victims among the rubble.

On the 1462nd day of the war, the Russian troops had initially let their activities on the fronts die down. According to the General Staff in Kiev, only 50 armed clashes were reported from the various sections of the front. This figure is usually over 80 per day.
