A 70-year-old motorcyclist crashed in a roadworks area in Sufers GR on Wednesday and sustained extremely serious head injuries. Rega took him to the cantonal hospital in Chur.

The motorcyclist was riding downhill on the Italienische Strasse towards Andeer at around 1.30 p.m. when the accident occurred, as the Graubünden cantonal police reported on Thursday. Before Rega flew the critically injured man away, members of the traffic service looked after him.
