Zurich city police recovered a missing 40-year-old man dead from Lake Zurich on Sunday afternoon. He had been attending the Street Parade with colleagues on Saturday.

His companions said that the missing man had wanted to go swimming at Utoquai on Saturday afternoon, as the Zurich city police reported on Monday. Contact with the man then broke off.

Following a missing person report, the water police carried out search dives. The police came across the lifeless missing man at a depth of around six meters. According to initial investigations, the man drowned.

All other reports of missing persons who were suspected of not having returned to land from bathing or swimming on Saturday were recalled.
