Drug smuggling Customs officers discover 13 kilograms of cocaine and heroin in Widnau SG

Employees of the Federal Office for Customs and Border Security (FOCBS) found a stash of drugs in the center console of a car at the Widnau border crossing. They confiscated 11 kilograms of cocaine and 2 kilograms of heroin, as the BAZG wrote in a statement on Wednesday.

A Serbian woman was behind the wheel of the vehicle with German license plates. The driver, the narcotics and the vehicle were handed over to the St. Gallen cantonal police for further proceedings.
