A 31-year-old female driver under the influence of alcohol caused parking damage in Emmen on Tuesday evening and then fled the scene of the accident. Shortly afterwards, she was found and stopped by a police patrol.

The woman was driving with a blood alcohol level of 1.62, as the Lucerne police reported on Wednesday. A rapid drug test also came back positive. She also did not have a valid driver's license.

On the same day, several drunk and drugged road users were on the road in the canton of Lucerne. In the city of Lucerne in the Reussbühl area, a 35-year-old driver was stopped without a valid driver's license. A rapid drug test came back positive.

At around 10.30 p.m., the police in Littau stopped three young scooter riders aged 16 and 17. During the check, the police found marijuana, hashish, drug paraphernalia and a prohibited weapon. A blood and urine sample was ordered.
