Altercation Man injured in a fight at Tavannes station

A man was injured in an argument involving four people at Tavannes railroad station on Sunday night. He had to be taken to hospital.

The fight broke out shortly before 4.30 a.m., as the regional public prosecutor's office and the Bern cantonal police reported on Monday. Three of the alleged perpetrators punched and kicked their victim. The victim was also injured in the thigh with a sharp object.

The alleged perpetrators are around 20 years old. The police are investigating whether they are connected to another fight that took place shortly beforehand at a party in Tavannes. The police are looking for witnesses.
