Traffic accident Overturned concrete mixer blocked road in Kaisten AG

The accident involving a truck led to a road closure lasting several hours on Monday morning in Kaisten AG. The 62-year-old driver was uninjured, according to the Aargau cantonal police.

In the accident involving a truck with a concrete mixer body, the load leaked shortly before 07.00, the police added. Extensive clearing work was necessary to remove the concrete from the road and recover the truck.

According to the police, the truck was a total loss. An investigation has been launched into the cause of the accident. The accident happened at the point where Unterdorfstrasse from Kaisten crosses under Rheintalstrasse and the Laufenburg-Sisseln railroad line.
