Swimming accident Unidentified man missing after jumping into the Limmat in Zurich

An unknown man went underwater in the Limmat on Sunday night and never resurfaced. He jumped into the water at Pier 7 in Zurich with his clothes and shoes on.

The man swam towards moored boats at around 1 a.m. and suddenly went under, according to the city police on Sunday. The water police searched for him during the night, but had to give up due to the darkness. They have been searching for the missing man again since the morning hours.
