The number of vacant apartments in the city of Bern has remained stable compared to the previous year. On June 1, 349 apartments were vacant, compared to 355 on the same date last year.

The vacancy rate is therefore 0.44 percent, as the city of Bern announced on Thursday. Compared to 2023, this corresponds to a decrease of 0.01 percent.

As at the reporting date, the highest number of vacant apartments - 87 - were in the Bümpliz-Oberbottigen district, as the city reported. In Mattenhof-Weissenbühl, 80 apartments were vacant, according to the statement. With 30 apartments, the Inner City had the lowest availability in absolute terms.
