Several cities in the canton of Zurich have declared a free night on Saturday in the event of a victory for the Swiss national team. There would then be no curfew in indoor pubs.

Should the Swiss footballers progress further in the tournament, the free night would also be granted after further victories, as the city of Zurich announced on Thursday. Normal opening hours would apply in outdoor areas.

Schlieren will also grant a free night in the event of a win against England. The city expressly includes the "Pischte 52" public viewing area. In Winterthur, the free night would only apply indoors. Public viewings, like garden pubs, would have to close at midnight. The match against England starts at 6 pm.
