Mattia Zanotti returns to the Super League. After a year at St. Gallen, the Italian right-back is moving from Inter Milan to FC Lugano.
The 21-year-old has signed a contract with the Ticino club until 2028, as the club announced. According to media reports, Lugano will transfer a transfer fee of around 2.5 million euros to the Italian champions.
Zanotti played 34 league games for the eastern Swiss club last season as a loan player, in which he impressed with three goals and five assists. Prior to that, the Italian U21 international made three partial appearances in Serie A for Inter Milan.
