Torino sacked coach Marco Baroni on Tuesday and introduced Roberto D'Aversa as his successor. The Serie A club (15th place) made the announcement on its website.
The change of coach was a reaction to the Turin side's run of just one win from their last seven games. They are now just three points clear of the relegation zone.
D'Aversa once played for AC Milan. He has previously worked as a coach at Parma, Genoa (Sampdoria), Lecce and Empoli.
