Udo Lindenberg had to have a knee operation.
According to Bild, he was in hospital under a false name.
The musician is now actively working on his recovery.
Singer Udo Lindenberg (77) is on the road to recovery after his knee operation without complications. "Best doctors with golden hands, precision work at its best!" said the panic rocker according to a press release on Monday. And that's not all. The musician is already actively working on his recovery.
According to his motto "After the knee joint it goes on", Lindenberg is already training again for fitness, stamina and suppleness. "The longest corridors after my performance are already turning into stage catwalks through the arenas again - and off I go with the new turbo ball in my knee. The Show Must Go On," says the Hamburg native by choice.
Knee had to be operated on quickly
The knee operation was necessary because an old sports injury had become acute. On the doctor's advice, the operation had to be performed quickly. Lindenberg recently canceled a visit to his exhibition at the Rostock Kunsthalle at the end of August, for example.
As Bild reports, the operation was kept secret. The singer was in hospital under a false name.
But if Lindenberg has his way, the peace will not last long. Even before the operation, he announced on Instagram: "So fans, keep cool, it's just the calm before the next storm!" Lindenberg is also already working on new projects for 2024, as his spokesperson said on Monday.
