Music Over 80,000 people visit the Lakelive Festival in Biel

The Lakelive Festival in Biel/Bienne attracted over 80,000 visitors. The organizers drew an "all-round positive balance", as they wrote in a press release early on Sunday morning.

The festival brought together different generations and cultures in a peaceful atmosphere, the organizers said in the press release. Music, sport and culture were also brought together over ten days.

"We can look back on an almost perfect event", organizer Lukas Hohl was quoted as saying. The more than 800 employees and the beautiful weather contributed to this.

The festival's international headliners included Simple Minds, Die Fantastischen Vier and Nas. Nemo had a home game. In total, over 45 concerts took place on Lake Biel, according to the press release.

The next festival is scheduled to take place from July 31 to August 9, 2025.
