People Veronica Ferres doesn't want to be a star at her school reunion

Veronica Ferres (59) is one of the most famous German actresses. This should not play a role at an upcoming class reunion, as she told the German news agency DPA.

At the end of October, Ferres wants to celebrate 40 years of high school graduation with her old classmates. She definitely wants to travel to the West German city of Solingen for this, the actress told DPA. "I'm not the star there, it's just the classmates from back then," she says. Ferres graduated from the Schwertstrasse grammar school in Solingen in 1984.

At the class reunion, it would be possible to meet another classmate who has achieved a certain amount of fame: the publicist and philosopher Richard David Precht (59). "Richard was my classmate at grammar school, he was in my class for many years," says Ferres. "Richard and I acted together in the drama club, which was a great experience." She doesn't know whether Precht will be at the reunion.

Ferres has had a long career with dozens of cinema and television films behind her and continues to be in front of the camera almost non-stop. Precht does a podcast with talk show host Markus Lanz, among others.
