Like last year, the Wimbledon winner comes from the Czech Republic. Barbora Krejcikova wins the final against the Italian Jasmine Paolini in just under two hours 6:2, 2:6, 6:4.
For Krejcikova, it is the second Grand Slam title of her career three years after her triumph at the French Open. The 28-year-old follows her compatriot Marketa Vondrousova in the list of Wimbledon winners.
