Janika Sprunger makes it into the jump-off at the Grand Prix of the CSIO in Rotterdam with a clear round.
In the jump-off, the rider from Basel in the saddle on Orelie did not attack the fastest time and settled for 8th place after another clear round in the 300,000 euro competition. Marc Houtzager on Dante celebrated a home win. Edouard Schmitz with Gamin came 13th after a fault in the jump-off.
Janika Sprunger has thus redeemed herself for Friday's mediocre performance in the Nations Cup of the League of Nations. Like Pius Schwizer with Vancouver or possibly Schmitz, she is hoping for a ticket for Paris as number 3 alongside Steve Guerdat and Martin Fuchs - and not as a replacement (number 4).
