Fire Delivery van burns in parking lot in Zollikofen - no one injured

A van burned down in a parking lot in Zollikofen on Monday afternoon. No one was injured. The vehicle caught fire in a parking lot in the municipality of Münchenbuchsee shortly before 4 p.m. for initially unknown reasons and was a total loss.

When the emergency services arrived on the scene, the van was already fully engulfed in flames, according to the Bern cantonal police. The fire was brought under control and extinguished by the fire department. However, other vehicles were damaged. One person was checked on site by an ambulance team for possible smoke inhalation.
