A driver had an accident on Friday in Mörschwil SG when he tried to turn his car and the sailboat trailer attached to it. The 71-year-old sustained minor injuries.

According to the St. Gallen cantonal police on Saturday, the driver was making a U-turn on Horchentalstrasse so that he could drive towards Rorschach. In doing so, he overlooked the fact that a car was approaching from there and the two cars collided. The trailer with the sailboat overturned.
