A man from Ticino was driving far too fast on Uri soil. He was driving on the Gotthard Pass road at 152 kilometers per hour instead of the permitted 80 kilometers per hour.

The driver will be reported to the public prosecutor's office for a speeding offense, as reported by the Uri cantonal police on Friday. He had to surrender his driver's license on the spot. The speeding incident took place shortly before 15:00 on Friday near Hospental.
