Fire Vehicle shelter set on fire in Lucerne

A vehicle shelter burned down in a fire early Tuesday morning in the Rain district of Lucerne. Based on the evidence, the police assume that the fire was started deliberately.

When the fire department arrived a little after 1.30 a.m., the shelter was ablaze. The emergency services were able to prevent the fire from spreading to the detached house, according to Lucerne police.

No one was injured in the incident. The vehicle shelter was completely destroyed. Property damage amounted to several tens of thousands of francs.
