After 125 kilometers, 5000 meters of altitude and more than seven hours of riding, the Basel native was only beaten by American Kate Courtney in Verbier. Weinbeer lost just under four minutes to the winner.

Mona Mitterwallner completed the podium. The three-time world champion from Austria had to settle for third place after winning the 2021, 2023 and 2024 titles.
