Temperatures are rising, as is the desire to flirt on the Gurten. But how do festival fans flirt on Bern's local mountain? And how do they react when they get a rejection?
No time? blue News summarizes for you
- The Gurten Festival is taking place for the 40th time on Bern's local mountain from July 12 to 16.
- For many, flirting is just as much a part of the Gurtenfestival as good sound.
- We asked festival-goers for flirting tips and what to do if they are rejected.
For many, flirting is as much a part of the Gurtenfestival as good bands on the main stage. As temperatures rise these days, so does the desire to flirt. But how do you flirt at the Gurten?
According to many festival-goers, good old eye contact still promises success. Or something similar. "I give him signs and then expect him to approach me," says one visitor confidently.
It's also always a good idea to just say what's on your mind: "I go straight up to a guy and tell him I like him," says a young woman.
Disrespect and 08/15 as a turn-off
And what turns you off? "Disrespect" is a definite no-go, say many Gurten fans. Even flat slogans and run-of-the-mill chat-up lines rarely lead to success.
However, most of them can handle a basket well. "If you've never landed on your stomach, you can't get up and fly again," says one young man philosophically.
This can definitely be taken as a motto for the Gurtenfestival 2023.
