France win 1-0 against Austria in the group stage thanks to an own goal from Maximilian Wöber. The game against the Netherlands ended 0-0 and the group stage was rounded off with a 1-1 draw against Poland - masked man Kylian Mbappé scored from the spot.
In the round of 16, France beat Belgium 1-0, with Belgium's Jan Vertonghen unfortunately deflecting the ball into his own goal. He was "very surprised" by the French performance, said blue Sport expert Daniel Gygax. And not in a positive sense.
