The Breakthrough Prize today announced that its seventh annual ceremony, known as the âÄúOscars of Science,âÄù will feature a musical performance by Academy Award winner and four-time Grammy Award winner Lionel Richie, and a special performance by ChinaâÄôs top-selling female artist and Artist of the Year G.E.M., who will perform her song âÄúLight Years Away,âÄù which has achieved more than one billion views in just a yearâÄôs time. 

 

The performers will be joined by a star-studded line-up of celebrity presenters. Hosted by acclaimed actor, producer and philanthropist Pierce Brosnan, the show will take place on Sunday, November 4, and broadcast live at 10 PM ET / 7 PM PT on National Geographic.

 

Orlando Bloom, Ron Howard, Julianne Moore, Thandie Newton, Lupita Nyong'o, Zoe Saldana and G.E.M. will serve as on-stage presenters during the ceremony, which recognizes scientists and scientific achievement, specifically in the life sciences, physics, and mathematics.

Lana Del Rey a annoncé sur Twitter qu'elle repoussait la sortie de son nouvel album, Violet. En effet, la chanteuse a été cambriolée il y a peu et a perdu du temps.

Lana Del Rey a repoussé la sortie de son album de poésie parlée après que des voleurs lui ont dérobé des souvenirs de famille et des œuvres d'art pendant les fêtes.

La chanteuse devait dévoiler Violet, ce samedi (4 janvier 20), mais elle a annoncé sur Twitter qu'elle déplaçait la sortie de son projet à cause de l'incident. « J'espère que tout le monde a passé une bonne année. Je vais attendre environ un mois avant de sortir Violet, car on a perdu environ neuf jours avec tout ce qu'il s'est passé. C'est un projet intéressant, quand même, et j'ai hâte de le sortir », a-t-elle écrit. Quelques jours auparavant, l'interprète de Brooklyn Baby avait demandé aux voleurs de lui ramener ses souvenirs de famille, en échange d'une récompense.

La moitié des bénéfices engendrés par Violet seront reversés à des œuvres de charité aidant les natifs américains.
